Maybe if we all had to contribute to the expenses of running this site it might reduce the number of timewsaters.

I'm a paying member of another site which without question has less members just there to perv and waste time.

If we all had to paid on Fab it would also reduce the number or false profiles...mainly men pretending to be something else...(why do they do that?)

Some of us are helping out with our silver or gold memberships...£5 for two months...not much is it? The benifits are not great...seeing who has looked at you etc.

Maybe the site should REALLY reduce the access and message writing ability to NON contributiors to encourage the genuine to give support and the fakers to bugger off.

Too many people want something for nothing these days.

I have the option to pay or not

Having had a profile on here now for over two years i think its quite easy to spot time wasters etc

We were members of a very well known paid site for over 7 years and there were still timewasters on that lol xx

I am sure there will be a few more along at some point to say that paid sites are/can be just as bad as free ones.

If you are unable to out the fakes and timewasters yourself (through conversation) and are truly convinced that paid sites don't have the same problems, why change this site.... why not just go and join more paid sites.... and you'll be leaving all the fakes and timewasters here... allegedly.

We were on a paid site before joining fab and tbh I found we play more here than we ever did there.

I dont for one minute believe if this site became pay only that the timewasters would suddenly disappear.

Best way to stop timewasters (as has been said by many people before) is to have your own check list and chat to people first not just dive right in and wonder why you have been left hanging. Altho thats not foolproof, but having a few hours wasted isnt really a bad thing cos it makes you happier to meet the genuine people.

Well actually we pay for three profiles a couples one and individual single ones because we meet and play separately as well as together

I am a fully paid up gold site supporter. Cos I WANT to be not for any other reason.

The beauty of this site is you arent tied to it you can leave whenever you want, be a site supporter if you want, and dont pay your fiver if you dont want to.

Having been a member of pay sites in the recent past I can assure you that making Fab members pay a subscription will make not one shred of difference to the site.

I think some members find it easier to deal with the everyday ups and downs of being on a swingers site than others, it's all part of the game.

Ok, todays another day........people may not have liked the mans other thread, but his question today is a valid one and has been asked before.

For me, you will get timewasters on every site, it won't matter how much money people pay, they could still be timewasters.

Use good old gut instinct and you won't go far wrong.

I love the assumption that if you pay you get less time wasters. I think the OP really hasn’t thought this one out fully but fair game for putting up a controversial thread to get a bit of notoriety.

But lets look at the suggestion of limiting free members usage. Fab do that and what will happen? Well I would suspect free members would get 2,3 & 4 accounts to get round this. And wouldn’t this also have a knock on effect on the blocking system having to block 2,3 &4 times more.

I am waiting in anticipation for the OP’s next thread lol.

Perhaps if anyone is not happy with the way things are run on Fab and prefer the way other (paid) sites work, wouldn't it be in their own interests to use those (paid) sites?

I and many others I'm sure are quite happy with the way Fab is run and can cope with the timewasters without a change of the site.

Well although he singled out a group of people on the other thread , his other comments were true. There are lots of aggressive profiles about.

This question on this thread has been asked before now and been answered by posters.

It would be good if he proved he wasn't a troll by actually answering some of the points that have been made, but the man is going to answer back if people call him for starting another thread.

We were members of a paid site and to be honest found MORE timewasters on there than on here so making fab a paid site would make no difference at all. As others have said if you take your time chatting to people you soon get an inkling whether they are timewasters !!

Totally agree with you here Rugby, I would only see someone as a timewaster if they arranged to meet me then fail to show or let me know within good time.

I certainly don't buy into this whole thing about seeing people who fail to read your profile before sending you a message being a timewaster, they are at most a nuisance but to me a timewaster has to let me down on a meet....or turn up as a fifty year old who told me beforehand he was flaming Thirty!!!

I personally think it is how you all deal with things.

If you can figure out that some people are all talk/ pic collectors/ just wanting cyber, with some simple checks on initial contact ,then you are half way there.

Making it a fully paid site won't make those people go away...it will just mean there are people who are all talk/pic collectors and wanting cyber who happen to have money to spend.

We were on a paid site as I'm sure many others of us were / are.

Those paid sites have just as many complaints about perceived timewasters as there are on here, so no, making everyone pay certainly wouldn't stop them.

Although I don't see anything fundementally wrong with paying to be a member of a site.

i disagree with this comment.

I love this site - and any improvements are always welcome - even if it is for part of the site that i dont use - eg chat and multi cam etc.

I get what i want out of the site and even tho had free membership to introduce me to ther sites- have actually found MORE genuine people on here

hmmmmmmmm what we definately need here is for the op to substantiate "timewasters". Is it:

a) someone who doesn't reply to a message from someone when their profile quite clearly points out that's not what they are looking for

b) someone who has turned down your "wanna shag" message

c) someone who took more than 15 minutes to get back to you

d) someone who obviously doesn't understand that swingers drop their pants for anybody because they're sex crazed nymphomaniacs (well that's what they've read in Sunday Sport)

I've been a member on paid sites and having forked out money for something doesn't make some members behave any better. Fab is doing fine and like lots of people have said, you get used to ing out the numpties.
