Don't worry about thr ones that don't get read..focus on the ones that do.

Many will look at your profile before deciding whether to open said message!

So possibly start there!

From someone that's been on this site "over a year" I don't think that's a very sensible question. Have you not read peoples profiles and seen their verifications? Do you think all these people would be on here if it wasn't working?

Yes, there are an awful lot of timewasters and pic collectors on here, but you just have to learn to recognise them and block them.

What I see happening is some single guys seem to send out a lot of messages. I think if they get a reply they then tend to target those people for special treatment, like sending message after message without getting a reply back. In our experience we then get our inbox full of messages we haven't a hope in answering all of them without giving up work to become fulltime fabsters. Or the guys who can't be arsed to read your profile and chance their luck anyway. Well straight guys who live miles and miles away are never going to get a positive reply from us...

This is some examples of maybe why. But I do think a lot of guys on here are like message machines blasting out as many messages as they can. We rarely message new people. Possibly once a month we might send a speculative message.

If you view this site as "any hole is a goal", then its a numbers game, you send out endless messages, 95% of them don't get read or even looked at, and you need to accept that. Eventually someone will fuck you, but it will take a long time, and if you are that desperate for a ride there are always prostitutes.

If you look at it as somewhere to meet new people who may or may not want to have sex with you, its time to sell yourself in your profile, take the time to write a half sensible message to someone you like the look / sound of that is fairly close to you and that you have a chance of eventually meeting, and not be too worried if you are ignored or blocked. Not everyone fancies everyone else, and if you have a truly crappy day, and arrive home to 50 "I'd like to fuck you" messages (not that I ever will, as a bloke ) the temptation for ladies and couples has to be to mass delete them.

Also, sending repeated messages to the same person, if they obviously aren't interested, it just rude. Suck it up and move on, or look hard at being here at all.

There are a lot of time wasters on here that doesn't help. An example. I had a wink from a lady yesterday. We exchanged photos and about 20 emails.  Finished by agreeing to try and mee and find out today I'd been blocked. You just have to persevere I'm afraid.
