Just wondering if there are any fellow tattoo enthusiasts here on the site? Happy to chat about the beautiful artform, geek out about favourite artists and pieces etc...

I also have a major thing for punky/gothic/rockabilly/alt tattooed type ladies. Just saying, like... X

I have ink, 6 with one ongoing and another planned, I really like to see ink on a chap. Been to a couple of conventions but there is not a huge scene in Devon

I've an old faded tattoo that I wanted to have re-inked....sentimental reasons.

Enquired last week about this but having it lasered and redone was going to cost around £1,000.

Now I'm just going to have it covered at the cost of £200 and booked in for November 8th.

I (fem) have a few very small tats but have recently had the one I've wanted for a very long time put onto my lower back. I have underlying reasons for each one and now that my 'special' one has been done, unless a really pressing excuse ... sorry, reason comes along, this will be my last

we both like tattoos, the artistry, and both have some, but not into them anally enough to have favourite artists. i know some VERY excellent home artists, as well as some rather bad shop ones, so not really interested in names.

Just tried to put a photo on our page which shows my latest tattoo, but admin rejected it coz it's a cat, despite another of our pics showing my pawprints tattoo and another we previously had on here with a little cat on it.

Sorry, but I'm feeling aggrieved about it coz it's a lovely pic of my beautiful puss who passed away 5yrs ago.

The prob with paw prints and animal tats is they are used as badges for people into illegal fetishes, so cant be shown.

I have 3 one on my leg of an angel and two names in Chinese one on each upper arm. Mrs blings has 4 both wrists done, back of her neck and a back piece. We are both booked in for new ones early next year. But from reading the thread won't be able to show mine as it will be a cat!!!

They should be personal to whoever has it done and IMO. But as long as the person who has it likes it then others opinions shouldn't matter.

Choose something that has a meaning to you and you like the look of it's as simple as that

I have a faded one on my shoulder and we both have chameleons, we had those on valentine's day as a naughty reminder that being where our swinging began.

Rich has a beautiful one of butterflies and flowers up his leg.

I'm sure it would be.

And been thinking, when you have picked an image you like. Keep it but don't look at it for a week. Then have another look and see if it still is as good or holds the meaning you wanted coz once it's on your skin it's hard to remove. Better to be sure than rush it.
