Did anyone go to the Peter Gabriel Gig last nighT at the M.E.N

I went to see Peter Gabriel last night at M.E.N manchester arena now known as phones4u arena 26 /10/2013 , just wondering if anyone else did , its a small world we live in

How was Gabs? He was brilliant in the 80's - way, way ahead of his time - compared to most.

He was wicked ... Absolutely fantastic ... The only thing that had changed was his hair ... Voice was same he was he did the shaking the tree dance .. It was awesome.

No it was definitely ... m.e.n .. Opened with come talk to me .. One oFF my favourites ended with Biko ...

apparently my mate who took me said that stephen biko s son was there , i never heard him say that but it would explain why he did it .... It was wicked , however i gotta say the highlight oF my year was breaking into Glastonbury Festival and watching the stones live

Never seen them live but listened to there concert from a mates deck nearby to the gig, downunda - they sounded pretty damn good!!

@comment about simple minds cover of biko....

not many versions top the roundhay park version of biko covered by simple minds just to watch the crowd WAS amazing ...

My mate who took me to see Gabs was at roundhay ...

Jimmy lead singer of simple minds never shyed away from announcing whose song it was AnD announced it to his hero peter gabriel ...

Not one of the best known songs on the album is "We Do What We're Told". It's just a wonderful little track which leaves the main vocals to the very end. Very atmospheric.

It was used in an episode of Miami Vice too.
