I was blissfully happily married, had it all. Had two beautiful daughters and son...then our son died, and the happy marriage slowly died also.

I hope to be happily married again. Single is fine for now, but I don't relish the thought of growing old alone.

I'm single, never been close as yet, but would happily marry if 'the one' comes along

From puberty we are expected to marry, have a family, mortgage and be happy for life, most do, and find out after 2 yrs they have made a mistake, by then its too late, kids, money home, most get to 7 yrs and want to escape, some do, films have been written about the 7 year itch, but for stubborn ones, usually women they make it last for many years, some, a lifetime, just to prove they were right....

Get a life, cut the ties, be happy.

True ,adultery, affairs help a marriage last, so getting random cock, makes marriage more bearable.

We'll be married twenty years soon and couldn't be happier. We have had a new lease of life since our children have grown up and it's like we are courting again. We may renew our vows or possibly wait till the 25th anniversary. It'll be good to have another honeymoon as our first one was a bit pony.

Thought i was happily married, then he left one night with my best friend.

Remarried almost got to 2 years and looked at him one day and thought 'you're a useless twat'!

Now am blissful with my other half John. We don't live together but we spend a lot of time together. We are very laid back and not had a cross word yet (in almost 2 years). I doubt i'll marry again but when the time comes and we can live together full-time i know i'll be happy because John lets me be myself and lead my own life. He doesn't own me or try to control me.

Love ya babe xxx

Nearly 20 years married, first and only marriage for us both, extremely happy, we laugh a lot together and still snog in the supermarket Couldn't imagine being single and not having someone who always believes in me, always backs me up and speaks for me when I can't speak up for myself, and is always there when I need them.

"We both rushed things so ended up separating. We restarted the relationship i.e dating etc and now happily married with our own space if the shit hits the fan."

i think that was the problem with my marriage, we got married far to soon after we met and by the time we realised we wasn't for each other it was to late, i was married and pregnant so we just carried on, till we got to a point where neither of us could carry on anymore, we didn't even share the same bedroom for the last 8 years of our marriage, we didn't have sex or anything, he worked days, i worked night, we passed each other twice a day, we wasted a lot of years together which i regret very much now

Staying together for the children. 16 years so far, another 11 to go I suppose. Not slept together, or in same room, for over 10 years, on here with permission.

Happy, not really, other than I get to do things daily with the children, which it rather wonderful.
