Guys do it as well. I've agreed to meet again with people then they get attached, so I have to drop them. I think what can happen is ... Some men (not all) chat on here b4 a meet and are very friendly and good fun ... Aside from a few guys who are ermmmmm 'weird' at the best of times, more often than not it does seem to be women who can't wait to drop those oh so not so subtle hints on the forum about "that someone special" (who more often than not hasn't even told them their real name, never mind mentioning the wife and kids waiting at home).... and then what appears to be five minutes later - 'U-TURN'. What next appears is either a man hater, devout born-again singletons or 'victims' who somehow manage to blame the guy for not:

Only wanting to meet for sex

Not being at their beck and call

Meeting other people and not being there for them

of course i wouldn't because you would ave been being nice, but making clearly derogatory comments about someones profile when they hadn't mentioned it in their opening post is not nice is it? we get accused of being nasty to new posters all the time and here is just one example of someone doing just that.

so you don't like his profile - don't message him then. you don't like how he plays? don't play with him then but don't slag him off because of it.

I think the OP has a point too.

Since my time on these forums I've seen many people start as singles, then the flirting, then the birth of the 'new couple profile', the fall out, the snide remarks on the forum, the leaving the site, and the re-emergence of the single profile with a new name..... Then someone shows an interest and the flirting starts and so on .........

If people were that happy being single, why jump into making couple profiles with guys on here

Only a few people can do strict nsa. There will always be feelings and sometimes you can just connect on another level. Once that happens, it's no longer nsa.
