So how many people are who they say they are? & How many people make up a dating/swinging persona?

This question is to people who chat to others & meet others not for people to comment on themselfs.

I've noted a large number of single men in the forums seem to answer boards with the right answer as oppose to there own personal behaviour?

Or am I getting this wrong?

As _iew said above..'nobody knows me better than me'.

How can you possibly know what someone's real persona/behaviour is from text written on a forum?..

How I am on here is exactly how I am in real life.

And I'm sure everyone I've met on here will say that too.

I also notice you have singled out "single men"...i find that odd, do you not think women could support and/or not support your opinion?....

The only thing fake about me - and this may come as a shock ...............is my Afro!

There's no point in trying to put across a fake persona if you're actually planning to meet. There's a lot of 'networking' going on in the lifestyle and you'll soon come a cropper if you're 'behind the keyboard' personality and _iews are different to you face to face!

OP there are a lot of people in life that have a persona or in my language are a bit fake! That's not just on fab, that's everywhere.

Those who are true to themselves generally get on better - and are happier.

And certainly on fab - those who are keeping it real get on better than those who aren't.

At the end of the day it's personal choice. Enjoy Fab and have fun

We all have different facets to our personality. We all either consciously or subconsciously display some of those facets.

I find the forum tends to bring out my sarcasm whereas real life brings out my caring side.

If people here think I'm a know-it-all bitch then that's their perception of a 2D facet.

People who respond to posts with what they think others want to read, still clearly show us facets of themselves. To me this may show they have an agenda, or they don't have original thought, or they want to please. Of course they may just be being honest.

Use the forum to provide jigsaw pieces in the pursuit of finding like minded people.

I think everyone wants to be liked most of the time n we all tweak our personality slightly to fit different situations. I used to be in a cabaret show in the 1970s n you don't go on stage as your 'total' self - there has to be an element of aiming to please. We all do this in real life to a degree but I wouldn't call that a 'fake' persona

People on here looking to meet obviously put their best foot forward - that is an inherent human trait. It doesn't mean they are false or shallow tho

You're not wrong fella there are a hell of a lot who say what they think they should say rather than have a mind of their own. Saying that you cant blame some people if they are struggling to get meets. I would rather just play it my way it would be too much of a hassle to suck up.
