I adore singing, I'm a proper rock chick - there's only one thing stopping me from wowing Cowell and Co and that's my unfortunate inability to carry a tune in a fecking bucket...I used to work in a prison and my singing was banned under the Geneva Convention as a WMD - Guantanamo Bay have however requested a "Caz covers classic rock" mix tape to accompany their water boarding activities

Has anyone tried group singing sessions? For those who want a chance to strengthen their vocals or just generally let loose, its a great way to practice without fear of being singled out.

I ask because my thoughts were that perhaps a good, strong singing voice suggests that a person has a strong heart and lungs, and so perhaps speaks of a high level of virility?

I like a good speaking voice and someone willing to sing along whether they are any good at it or not. The joy is in the feel good factor of singing not the skills or talent for me.

An open attitude is really very attractive.

I sometimes feel the same way, but in my case, I'm more afraid to sing for other people, as I may find I'm not as good as I think I am, which makes me realise how much singing means to me.

I've thought about getting into theatre for a shot at doing it properly.

I enjoy a bit of singing, never in public though. Mostly on the xbox, rock band and guitar hero, 5 starred many a song, was around 600th in the world rankings for a song on guitar hero, not bad considering only one other person was above me for singing, the rest were all guitar

Love it

Although much like on the forums, I like to lurk in the background and chuck in harmonies with the group rather than take the lead and be in the spotlight

I love to sing.

Had quite a good gig going round bars and pubs singing for a few years but then stopped when kiddies came along. Thinking of getting back into it soon but was wondering if it's more of a young persons game now
