Between the lines...

I used to love a little bit of colouring in. I am a stickler for staying within the lines, sometimes holding my finger along the line, to reinforce the felt doesn't move.

A pen just leaked on my finger, which reminded me of this(having my fingers covered in coloured ink)....which led me to wonder, who's a scribbler, who's a doodler, and do you stay within the lines?

If I am doodling, I tend to draw flowers or loads and loads of boxes, I have no idea why, as flowers die around me ......so who's a Tony Hart amongst us?

I'm creative with words and ideas but, sadly, I don't have a single artistic cell in my body

I doodle a lot though. I draw geometric shapes or flowers. Badly!

my drawing is more like what Morph would do rather than Tony Hart lol, but I was always a stickler for trying to keep my felt-tip pens between the lines

There's a colouring in app?

I like colouring in - I call is mental masturbation as it helps me switch off. I do like to stay in the lines. I doodle in meetings but not elsewhere. I haven't dabbled with the paints or sketch book for a while though as I'm terrible at drawing.

Yes...share this app...we need it on our phones

I always have to doodle, when in meetings, or training sessions, its the only way my mind focuses. Some trainers have had issue with it over the years, but I always pass with flying colours, unlike the ones that doze off

...P.S...

poor old Morph...miss that little squishy fella :D

I draw fat women with curly dark hair, cats and geometric shapes. Or mazes - I hate it when I get lost on a maze of my own making.

depends on my mood - if im feeling impatient/ratty etc then is a scribble all over the place, otherwise I like to get creative and make little designs and watch them grow

I doodle constantly. Flowers and 3D boxes are the basis for a lot of my doodles. Also spirals, lines that never cross and eyes....

Get it analysed NOW......why the flowers and boxes.

Mazes ! Yes ! I fill sheets with lines of varying angles, but they must not cross and I must always be able to double back and get out.... an inability to get out is an epic FAIL ......

What do we do that makes us maze ?

I used to be (art student) but it isn't a skill I've kept up and unfortunately it isn't like riding a bike.

Bit of a cop out though because I was only good at still life or copying, and couldn't draw from my imagination.

I tend to draw bridges and other structural objects. My favourite was a jib crane I drew whilst on a MS Project course that was dragging. It had it all...!

I draw like picasso and that's not bragging I usually get silly with colouring in and do stripes spots and zig zags. Never miss a chance to doodle and my colleagues are always taking the mic as my documents usually contain a doodle or two

SQUARES OR BOXES

Drawing a square indicates you want control of a situation — that you are thinking through a problem.

If your squares progress to a cube or box, you’re likely to be a very efficient, analytical person who can deal with difficult situations with little fuss.

FLOWERS

Soft, rounded petals around a circular flower centre suggest an amiable, family-centric person.

If the centre of your flower is a circle, but your petals are pointy, you are probably hiding a warm heart behind a prickly defensiveness.

If you doodle a bunch of perky-looking flowers you are likely to be sociable. Drooping flower heads, on the other hand, indicate you’re burdened by worry.

HOUSE

This common doodle indicates a need for security. A neat drawing of a house suggests a secure home life, a more messy-looking sketch (especially one without windows) indicates unhappiness with your home life.

A house pictured on its own on top of a hill suggests you’re feeling isolated and lonely.

I am a constant doodler, helps me to concentrate!

Recently in work we have been experimenting with using play dough scented with essential oils to help with clients anxiety and stress, so I've been sitting in board meetings making wee snails and roses (and the odd phallic shape lol) I think it will take over from my constant doodling!!

I like to scribble a random shape with lots of loops and double backs etc creating lots of small areas to colour in. You use 2 colours but when colouring no 2 spaces of the same colour can match.

If I'm on the phone I'll do those flowers where the pen didn't leave the page etc
