I was pissed that they killed off key characters from the comics and then brought others in too late like Tyreese.

What is it now? Have they brought Negan in too early this time?

Yeah that was annoying but then they're not following the comic.

Negan? I've only read up to 90 something.

I understand that people can look at it that way but I see things like; the comic became a series because of how good it was. Anything too far off the beaten track destroys what made it popular.

Negan is... I shouldn't say, but imagine Henry Rollins gone murderous psychotic and imagine a lot of shocks and heartbreak. He's ten times worse than the governor!

You could think that was the reason or became a series but it's more likely it's because someone could make a shit ton of money from it. The same way they made a Captain America film and two Thor movies, so they could tie them in with Iron Man and the multiple failed Hulk movies and make The Avengers and it's latest spin off Agents of SHEILD. Not to mention all the attempts to bring back Superman.

Overall, I think they're doing a damn good job with Walking dead and I actually like the fact that I don't necessarily know what's going to happen next.

I was gutted when dale died. I liked him. Would've been weird to see their relationship like it is in the comic

It would have been weird yeah, but times were weird and their relationship when Dale really died was touching. The whole cannibal aspect really changed the game and that was what made Andrea tougher. In the series she was rushed because of Dale and the relationship with the Governor was just wrong. She ended up hated when she is one of the few strong characters left in the comic.
