Why do men like heels?

Up North :-)

Looking at comments on another thread I had to agree that I am partial to the odd 5inch pair or so but why do we like them? Are there blokes who love flats too?

And if they are as uncomfortable as some people say ( ok I know some have no problem at all wearing them) Why do women who find them uncomfortable succumb and wear them?

The reason is purely sexual laddy!!!

It makes out lovely long legs appear even longer and slender and makes that stairway to heaven so much more inviting!!!!

Because they are sexual..... the mere sound of them approaching has heads swiveling in anticipation. They round out a bottom and elongate a womans legs, she has to wiggle and walk differently in high heels, it's a seductive slow movement.

The spike of a stiletto adds a frisson of fear to any man mindful of his 'nads, they can imply damage... to floors grass genitals... and therefore a switch of power... many powerful men slavishly adore heels.... I like my heels can you tell?

I agree with laine and debutante.

My partner tells me that although heels make me tower over him (I even tower over him in flats) they give me a different posture and change the way I walk - which he loves to watch.

Plus, when we're horizontal, the height thing makes little difference

Personally, I love the confidence that the extra height gives me and how the muscles in my legs tighted and become more defined when I'm wearing them.

A world of my own

I haven't been able to walk in heels higher than 2inches for over 2 years since I had an ankle injury. I do however wear them in the bedroom and they always seem to have the desired effect, lol. Trouble is my daughter is getting well pissed off with me borrowing hers for that purpose now

They make the bum perkier (also adding some definition to leg shape because of the way the muscles need to work to balance you) when standing and gives a guy something to use as hand-grips when laying down.............. may be?

Yep,absolutely.......though the opposite can be said of flatties,they make women waddle like Pingu,make their legs look dumpy and look terrible with short skirts.

Especially those pump things that we used to wear for P.E at primary school.

Siren's 5" heels elevate her to 6'2" and that's just sooooo sexy, plus it makes her bum look tighter and her legs more defined. Now if I could just get her to walk down the road in nothing but her heels like they do on PublicNudes.com hehehe

only time i have done, is when its very hot, and i wear lose linen trousers, they dont look right with heels , but i usually wear wedges

I love short skirts but opaque tights don't suit me as i have think legs. I do have some killer thigh high boots that look amazing with a micro tartan skirt though.

platforms are your best friend, i have some 7inch heal with 4inch platforms so really they only 3inch but give the illusion your wearing hight heals when your not really, they much more comfy too

i think men and women like heals because they make your legs look longer and slimmer

Being 5ft 10 in my stockings I'm always asked why i wear 5 inch heels that make me v tall, my answer I love em lol.

Like people said they make your legs look thinner and hey I don't really like towering over men ............... honest ...............
