Would it ever be a viable option to "frisk" football fans etc when going along to a game ?

Confiscating booze and anything that could cause injury to other fans and those on the pitch ?

Don't see why not. I got frisked going into the emirates stadium back in June for the green day gig and there were more people there than at an arsenal home game so it's possible. X

Not all of them, the resources and time needed would be massive.

We could just ban the game. like they do with problem pubs get them closed down. That should give the coup we need.

They used to do it all the time. Some grounds still do. I remember in the 80's some grounds had metal detectors.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Wouldn't it be cheaper just to install body scanners at the entrances?

Not like football clubs don;t have cash. And if I go to a gig in a stadium I get searched so fail to see the difference.
