As tv generally seems pretty poor these days, what old shows would you love to revive?

For us we'd love the crystal maze back on tv

I loved that, too. It was really ahead of its' time in so many ways. They had some bizarre choices of pundit on there - Oleg Gordiesky, some chief constable. If they wanted an expert on hiding, they should have spoken to Lord Lucan, or some of those old Germans who were living in South America.

I hated Terry & June. Was about as funny as watching paint dry. Steptoe and Son was always one of my favourites. Who could you get to play the roles though ?

That's another whole new conversation.

well if they based on the recent reboot thatd be a start. What happened to star trek was it became a tedious soap, far too politically correct, that namely came from the vomit inducing Voyager, then the god awful enterprise...

by this time I was embarrassed to be a star trek fan and wished the next generation/deepspace9(although that had some duff rubbish bits too)would come back

There was a programme some years ago, but it's not really old called Balls of Steel and was basically short clips of characters doing outrageous and shocking things.

Totally disagree. There is a huge amount of very well written and made tv shows out there. Too many to mention but unfortunately the mainstream channels prefer to serve up cheap reality and hide away the good stuff. SKY Atlantic has some gems.
