Actually a very good friend of mine whom is member of Fab decided to give up all alcohol for October. She doesn't smoke but alcohol is sometimes her Achilles heel.

So far she's not had one drop and I have to say that I'm personally very proud of her achievement.

It's especially encouraging as she's been able to do this especially as her vanilla life includes playing darts and of her many friends, a lot are associated with her local pub.

While most doubted she'd be able to do this and some actively encouraged her to have at least one drink, she's stuck to her guns so good luck to her to see it out to the end of the month and then continue to change the habits of a lifetime.

I've not smoked since July 2010 and not had a drink since September 21st and July the 5th was the time before that.
