We always seem to get ourselves in sticky situations....like having couples on friends list who we talk to and have a laugh but wont play with. yet we don't wanna hurt their feelings by saying no. anyone else the same? x

I am quite new here so not sure of how things are done in general but I'd have thought adding/requesting friends doesn't always mean you intend to play with them, just that you have good chats/rapport and may POSSIBLY play in the future.

Agree just let them know they are not for you sexually, have them as friends but no need to lead anyone on be honest with them.

Seriously though we have a few people like that on our list, I just let Em' know when they asked what we are looking for that with them it wouldn't go past friends and if they were cool with it, great if not we'd understand... Some people on here just like to chit chat so they were actually okay with it and we chat often about everyday things

Always honest from the outset if I'm not interested in playing, but happy to chat passes the time, learn new things, make an odd friend, most of my friends are a bit odd lol

I'm 53, think "no" was the first word I uttered: I've not worn it out, so have no problem in saying it.

You can be assertive and nice without hurting the feelings of others: it's not either or!

Need to know basis

There is always an unlying misconception that because you are chatting with someone...sex is the end goal! Sometimes it takes weeks to know whether you will want to play with people. Dont feel bad that you dont, but be open and clear from the start, fron the first message! I personally usually only accept invites from people I have met or played with but will bend that rule for those I intend to play with and with whom I have been chatting to for a while. This does not mean I will have sexual encounters with them...I make that very clear to them!

If things do not go the way you want them to or if you do not fancy them, just say it! If they are familiar with the swinging site they should not have a problem with it!

I have it on my profile that replying to a message doesn't guarantee a meet. I have no issue saying no to people
