Shouldn't the law be changed for swingers clubs so thay can have a separate room so thay can have a smoke. What do you think?

As a smoker myself i would like this option but there again if they changed the law for swingers clubs i suppose they would also have to make the same allowances for pubs/clubs etc...

Can't see this happening myself!

sometimes hard to get out there re room wise....

smoking staff and smokers within. in the warm and dry, buying beer.

makes no sense, but the law is the law

The law only for all us peasants...

the houses of commons and other government facilities still allow smoking "inside" where its nice and warm ....

In my state the law says not only can you not smoke inside bars/clubs but smokers must also be 100 ft (approx 30 meters) from the main entrance as well! Some of the nicer places have set up covered patios and benches or tables. others just leave you out in the cold. As a former smoker I totally sympathize for those folks. on the upside though most bars/clubs/restaraunts will allow the use of e-cigs indoors. so that is what I use...and I am not forced to go outside to have a puff.

As a smoker I have lived with nipping outside or smokers rooms or areas at many clubs,

I don't mind I remember the days of smoking on buses, pubs etc it stinky,just glad some clubs do think of us x I don't smoke much when there anyway

As someone said before,there is a better social atmosphere were all the smokers hang out in my pub.Ninety percent of the no smokers come out and join us.I asked a couple of them why they come out,and they have said there is more laughing a joking going on outside then there is in the pub.All but a couple of them have no objections to smokers smoking in the pub.Myself I think the law should have aloud each pub to make its own decision wether to go smoking or no smoking.Let the regulars vote on it themselves.

You can have a frame with a roof on it and build four walls round it aslonge as the walls are not connected to the frame its classed as open

This law was introduced to protect the club/pub owners from being sued by their staff who have developed an illness due to passive smoking.

No owner in their right mind will want to be sued so the ban will remain in force everywhere (thank god ).

It's nice to go to the pub now and come home smelling clean and fresh and not stinking of smoke.

Advice to smokers:- buy a warm coat or pack in smoking sorry!

Being a smoker its far more sociaal now standing outside, everyone talks to each other, i know one person who got a full time job by striking up a conversation. Ive got used to going outside and leaving the non smokers inside to talk to themselves

as the only non smoker in my family on most pub nights I'm often left sat at the bar alone looking like a sad d*unk with no mates
