"I bought some cheapy 3/4 length trackie bottoms and some hideous vest type tops" Nothing wrong with trackies and a simple t-shirt, many of the best looking girls I used to see down the gym didn't wear anything particularly flash (they saved that for the sauna afterwards )

"I bought some cheapy 3/4 length trackie bottoms and some hideous vest type tops from sports direct back in July when I started back at the gym but wasn't sure I was gonna stick it out. Well 3 months down the line I have and have no intention on stopping any time soon so wanted some decent gym wear that's suitable all areas including the odd fitness class. Anyone got any recommendations?? X JD sports have got loads of stuff online. I have a pair of their Pure range gym pants and they're so comfy x" Are they navy blue?

"Sports direct usually have some good bargains hottie " They'll gave all of the brands at the best prices ... Depends on what you do at the gym ... classes or machines. If classes I'd suggest something loose fitting, and stretchy, without being baggy, and that wicks sweat easily ... So avoid cottons etc. Machines you don't want to snag anything so more figure hugging imho ... And if on the bikes/ spinning definitely get some proper cycle shorts You needn't invest in the pricey gear, there are a lot of budget ranges out there - which do the job. But good trainers/ shoes are the best thing to invest in

"Bearing in mind these clothes are for sweating into, can I suggest just buying cheap again? Primark do sports stuff, as do TK Maxx. On a sidenote, I'd love to have you doing bodybalance in front of me. Would do wonders for my flexibility " I don't mind cheap as long as it lasts. The cheap stuff I bought before is already coming apart at the stitching. I don't have the money to spend a fortune. Just something half decent that lasts more than a couple of months. Not sure if I'm brave enough for Lycra!! Haha x

"Gym Shark do some really nice clothing too. For both men and women. I've had to take a break from training but be back on it soon. I need to do some shopping too. " Agreed, gym shark are also worth checking out. Same, done my back ligaments a treat, had some time out but I'm back again.

"N.B: If you do buy from Sports Direct make sure it's absolutely defo what you want cos the fuckers don't give refunds. " They also are well known to push people towards their own brands (such as karrimoor) rather than other brands as the commission is better for them. Not so bad if iut is a running top, but when they sell shit trainers and people get injured in poorly fitting shoes it is totally irresponsible,
