public liability insurance

Now I am going to be calling around tomorrow,but wondered if anyone knew if you could get short term liability insurance... I was going to be doing a Christmas shopping.g night with a table for my handmade decorations but just read the fine print and saw I need to have insurance to do.it.

Try NMTF, national market traders federation

Yearly is about 90 quid, they may do a daily one

I'm fairly certain the Makeup Artist that I use on photo shoots used to get PLI on an 'as and when' basis before she went full time.

The OP might find it easier and cheaper to ask the venue (church hall to shopping mall) to extend their PLI to cover this.

Their insurer might decide it doesn't even require an additional premium.

I used simply business, they were the cheapest, also if I sent you a link you would get a £25 refund check and so would I fit the referral.., It may make it about £35 the year after your £25 back x

You really need public liability for a table of hand made decorations?

I just find that so over the top.

CMTIA if you do more craft sales. Had them when I was a market trader and thoroughly recommend.
