When I was a kid there was a programme call "why don't you switch off your television set and go do something less boring" Pauline Quirk was one of the presenters.

Watching so called reality television about people who are getting their 15 minutes of fame seems to me a waste of time?

Read a book or listen to Vaughn Williams (Lark Ascending is a particular favourite) and relax?

Why get upset at shit, sensationalist TV?

Go out and work with people that are on benefits and don't want to be, instead.

Go and see the effects of hate crime on our streets.

Go and work in a food bank or soup kitchen.

Spend some time with the homeless.

Go to a few multi-faith meetings and catch up with Muslims, Jews and Christians who hate fundamentalism as much as you do.

Alternatively, stay in, watch this, get angry and then use 'Strictly...' or 'X Factor' to take away the pain and misery of not actually being in any pain and misery, other than watching it second hand on TV and getting all narky about it.

How long do you reckon it took them to find the subjects for this program, rather than finding a bunch of genuinely disenfranchised people to interview that would have been a ratings disaster?

Rant over...

Yeah he's meant to be a psycho, but I like Dean Norris as an actor. Plus, in the book, Jim Rennie was a total bastard from the outset, Norris's version makes you think twice at times, which is more entertaining, despite being off the point

synopsis. Character introduction, someone dies, someone gets locked in a cellar, shady goings on regarding white spirit, or something flammable. Dome pops up from nowhere!! More people die, psycho on the loose, suspicious character moseying about getting in peoples faces. He's hot so he's paired up with tasty red haired woman. Crazy shit happens and more people die. Put the remote in another room is advised too as well as DVDs/consoles, etc as you will only end up hitting or throwing them in disgust. I didn't watch it as it makes my blood boil. I live in a town where it seems most people are like that. So why would I want to put that on a tv screen in my free time.

See I went years hearing boys my age sulking 'I'm not a redhead. I'm strawberry blonde,' or, 'I'm not ginger, I'm auburn'. It drove me to just say redhead or ginger and not care what the reaction was.

I wouldn't call a black man brown, you see where I'm comin from? lol

Got a stunning ladyfriend who's somewhere between ginger and red and she just goes with all the ginger jokes to piss people off, like she eats souls and she's a succubus and she'll use witchcraft to give your children warts etc.
