Well 'HE' said he gets his soundtrack sorted first and then directs his film around the music. Great way of making films I thought. ...... Going down the soap opera theme route would be a bit wrong and I'd never make a Hollyoaks style theme. The trick will be to have a melody that's catchy and tells a story and to not depress the shite out of listeners. Many famous songs are just a melody and nothing adventurous and yet still catch imaginations. Sweet Child 'O Mine is a perfect example, so is Teardrop by Massive Attack ![]() | |||

Tarantino, thats his name, Tarantino (sp) Good luck, hope its a success" Tarantino had that going for him in his best years because a lot of the songs were from his favourite films. You notice that when that music appears, so does a convention from that particular movie, if it doesn't base its drama around the effect of the music on the listener. Nowadays you can tell the influence isn't helping him like it used to. No classic hits left to use beyond the 70's lol | |||
