I saw something unusual tonight

Tonight I was at an Ann Summers party and saw something unusual - well was to me lol

Bras with bones (like in a basque or corset) up the front of the cups.

I wonder if anyone has bought one and if so can you tell me if they are comfy??

I dont want to fork out loads for something I cant wear for longer than an hour or 2

I have a few basques hun and a corset with metal bones ohh and I love them cos they give me a waist!! well more of a waist

But these had the little plastic bones going up from the underwire to the edging lace.

The woman selling the stuff swears they are really comfy but she is small in the bust department and its her job to part me from me cash so just wondered if they really were comfy or if I should just stick to my corset and basques??

I have bras with two bones at each side but never seen them with bones at the front. Are they for structure or aesthetics?

She didnt have one in my size hun so I really have no idea but she (the woman selling the stuff) said it gives better support.

Not sure what to make of them to be honest cos like I said she doesnt have boobs like mine so I wouldnt buy one on her say so, hers are all still pert and mine soooooooooo need all the help they can get to sit up where they are supposed to

I think I will stick to my corset and basques.

I dont like the idea of sore or uncomfortable boobies at all

Actually, I was about to post that, but seriously, Bones? what like, Chicken bones, I can only assume 'bones' is just the term for some kind of wire.

I haven't had a bra with bones there, but have had a dress. I only have little boobs but the bones rub the nipples and not in a good way. It hurt! and made them all like they went after breast feeding lol I had to get spray stuff to stop them cracking. Wasn't pleasant, so I wouldn't recommend them xx

No Loony not chicken bones - they would cause havoc with me chicken fillets you know

Honest to god these things looked like the little plastic bones in basques - you know the ones that give definition not shape (cos they werent metal lol) I was told they are very comfy and you forget the bones are there very quickly.

I think she thought a fool and her money are easily parted BUT hahaha nope I thought I would see if anyone else had tried them first

Thanks to all who have answered I know now I will get more corsets and basques, and stick to my normal underwired stuffed full of chicken fillets bras

Pearl I will have a look at the new stuff cos I still havent managed to get one yet

Thank you I think your dress is like the bras the woman was trying to sell - ohh I remember cracked nipples and sore boobs when breastfeeding DONT want to do that again it blooming hurt

Glad I didnt just say ohh well its only 20 quid and bought hubby a t-shirt instead

am havin an ann summers party next wk so if they got one il get someone to try it on and they can tell me if it comfy or not n il let you know!

i think personally it would be to push up and could be uncomfortable for the larger bust but if just on for a wee while may be ok?? xx

It was a "pure lace underwired" bra if that helps??

The pics on the website dont show the bones that clearly, but it does look like the bones are gonna be where nipples are gonna be when wearing it which could be uncomfy.

OK Thanks Mznwty I think I will deff stick to my corsets then cos I can get comfy in them as well as pose

I was just curious to know and now I think I understand lol if it doesnt look comfy it prob wont be lol

Must be getting old tho cos a few years ago I wouldnt have waited I would have just ordered one and thought to hell with it later when I found out it wasnt what I thought

iv had ones with the bones runnin over there and as long as you properly fitted its no actually too bad but def not for all day wear!!

I think they said it was in the best seller range, well thats where it is in the website.

In the book its just before the jammies, ohh and they are doing a really soft nightshirt one of them feel it and reminds you of a babys blanket type material
