Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

It's here at last. It's Chocolate Week once again.

Try something new, step out of your chocolate comfort zone. Go dark, go salty, go nutty, go tea, go fruity, go cheesy. It's all out there waiting for you to try it.

It's all eggs at Easter. This gets a lot of the new flavours out before Christmas and there are chocolate workshops and tastings all over the place.

I'm all for having a tasting. I don't often have chocolate but when I do I like the dark stuff.

I've just tried a Belgian milk chocolate made from beans from Vanuatu. A hint of coffee in the taste, which isn't for me, but a smokiness that is quite tasty.

Do you put chocolate spread on chocolate bread or will it make an interesting bacon butty?

You should be drinking the Baileys this week.

Well done. Just sniff the chocolate and don't eat any. If you do eat any make is one square of a really good quality dark chocolate. That way it will be good for you.

Chocolate does have it's own week, outside of the other times that people buy chocolate. It's a chance to get out of your chocolate rut and try something new. Plus there are tasters around if you know where to look. Maybe not so many down in your neck of the woods though.

Yes, it's chocolate week. Unfortunately I'm not in London at the weekend so I will miss the chocolate festival and all the lovely tasters.

I don't know. I know it was national spine day on Wednesday and there is a rumour today is stockings day.

Pie week is in March I think. I missed it this year for some reason.

I don't know if they are still available but my favourite box of chocolates were the Seven Deadly Sins - I just loved the packaging.

Today I had a chocolate brownie and the hotel I am in tonight has two little complimentary chocolates instead of any biscuits.
