It depends on the state of the relationship to start with, and the type of persons involved.

If they are the jealous needy possessive type, then it is likely to end in doom and failure.

IMHO, of course.

Sometimes, reading some threads from couples I get the impression swinging binds them together as they appear devastated if they don't have a meet!

lol

it has had no efect either way i dont think.

maybe we have found we trust each other more, because we have seen each other in situations of temptation and nothing has happened, above what we have agreed, which helps as we spend so much time apart.

however, we dont trawl for meets.

its not something we feel we HAVE to do to be happy, and, havent actually met anyone for a fair while, although this weekends social will end that, lol

Positive, not because we have sex with other people, more that we feel we can say anything to each other, if we fantasise about something we feel more than comfortable telling each other, with that honesty and trust comes into play x

I remember going to a club one night and on the way out I saw a couple I know, I asked them if they had had a good night and the woman replied, no its been shit i've only had sex with him, looking towards her husband

That actually shocks me, I'm very happy to have sex with my other half, sex with others is just an extension of our sexual life

I'm single. But I can't imagine getting with someone who wasn't part of the lifestyle. I don't want to stop what I'm doing.

Men and women are inately swingers, but our subconscious motives are different...................the male and female sexuality has been evolving for so many thousands /millions of years and us swingers are the subconscious freedom fighters of the human race.....................human sexuality has been taken over by religious police and the vanilla world is what we are supposed to conform to , but , being a swinger , we have thrown out our brainwashed morals and stepped back into the good ol' days ...........................therefore ......................positive.......................

Anyone going to church on Sunday.

it's added spice, variety, and fulfilled some fantasies,so positive within our relationship.

swinging is the only activity i know of,

where you can have your cake, and eat it.

I can relate to that! I hid my bi side from K and after she found out (and amazingly decided not to punch me in the teeth and kick me hard as she could in the nuts) we decided to try this lifestyle - we now have zero secrets and can talk about anything - the best thing that ever happened... Just a pity I hurt her so much in the discovery!

Positive by far. It would only work if you trust each other. We have seen couple with a problem with trust and the atmosphere can be really awkward. If we do not play it is not a big problem as we are so happy with each other. I guess when swinging takes place of each other it would be a problem.

Definitely a positive experience

We have told a few close friends but not many. I know that I am the envy of all my friends who wished their wives would be as adventurous!

In terms of our relationship then we are more honest than ever but (and only a swinger will understand this) we are more in love and romantic with each other
