I don't usually get involved with the serious threads due to recent kickbacks, but there has been a few threads the past few days that have warranted replies and I'm sorry, but I'm with Peachy on this.

Fair enough having a laugh, but this is taking things just a bit too far. Serious threads looking for advice or even a wee bit of comfort have been practically knocked to the moon.

couldn't have said it better myself... as far as i am concerned it is all spam and the users should be barred from the site... they have gone and ruined a lot of perfecting interesting threads that have now gone from page 1 to page 6 in the space of 2 hrs....

As most of you know, I was going to come back properly after my holidays.

I don't think I'll fecking bother.

The forums used to be brilliant.

Shame there's always some fricking numpty who spoils it for the rest of us with their "look at me" attitude.

To be honest, I'm sick of the forums and I can't, at this moment in time, even be arsed to bother with the socials. I might just pull the lot.

What has happened to FABs....... bring back the site we used to know and love!

Now I am confused, I just posted asking what I've missed, then went for a look and returned to say, it's Ok I know now, only to find people saying it's all gone, so I went for another look, and no change, still loads of threads with no response.

Always report anyone spamming the forums ( just one of their posts , you don't have to report all of them )because if a mod isn't about, as obviously they can't be here 24 hours a day, then it will get dealt with that way instead.

I hope the culprits have been dealt with in a similar way. They both knew that what they were doing was alienable to rest of the community here and against site rules. That in itself shows the complete disregard for anyone but themselves that these two users demonstrated. I'd support a ban for both of them, even if it's just a 7-day ban.

I'm not part of any "it" crowd and Lord knows a loud of nonsense gets posted on these boards on a daily basis but it got boring watching two people indulge in an attention seeking game of who could spam the most!

Some of the threads had interesting titles but got lost.

The Mods wouldn't have withdrawn ALL the threads if people were just complaining about shite threads!!

May be... or may be a reality check of just how far they have gone and the effect on some of the people they may not have wished to get a reaction from."

Some people like to be in a clique of their own, but believe they're not in 'the clique', this allows them to feel slightly targeted and therefore happy to post for reaction, which in turn gets them attention, these threads do two things, 1) alert the Mods how unsettled things have become, and 2) feed their ego by giving them attention.

Some people just like to be talked about.

Last night Steven went round at the back of the 2 people and bumped as many as he could of the older interesting threads but in the process he discovered one of the posters from last night does what was done last night roughly ever 4 weeks

Hey, don't get me wrong, I think it's pathetic, but my point is, I believe it to be attention seeking, posting for reaction, so, if attention seeking is to be punished, then what about other types of attention seeking?.

All this fuss over these threads, is it really that bad from a posters point of view, (Devil's advocate here).

From a Mods point of view (I'm not a mod by the way, lol) I imagine there is every reason to take action, as it's the Mods that too around clearing up the rubble people complain of.

Now personally, I saw some threads pop up, about 6 or so, and thought, ah, it's one of those nights were there are few on and those few are bored and so they post threads as there's no posts to reply to, so I'm off doing summat else, so I can see what people are getting at, and to a point agree.

I'm not defending anyone and have my personal views, but all these threads about all those threads. lol
