We went to see this last night, at the spanking new Birmingham Rep theatre. Very impressive building, and excellent production.

We rarely go to the theatre, so it was an especial treat.

Brilliant cast, including local lad Martin Shaw, and Robert Vaughn ...

The film version starring Henry Fonda is excellent and I would love to see it on stage as it is originally written as a play I believe.

It is. All the action takes place in a single room. The set design was clever and had the central table on a rotating plinth so that as the play progresses, you get to see all the actors from every angle.

Transferring to the West End, I believe.

awesome movie!! 1957 and it still knocks a lot of todays movies out of the water.
