Asda I'd agree on but then again only ever ordered food online once and it was from them .

If its food Ocado is good with hardly any substitutions.

And at the moment if you spend £80 you can get £20 off your first shop.

Have a look at them all as they might offer a discount for your first shop

I use Tescos mainly but have used asdas and sainsburys

We signed up for Tescos delivery saver. £2.50 for a delivery Tue-Thur, as long as the order is over £40. Works out great for us - we get them to do the heavy lifting, and then we can use an local butcher for meat, and just top up with anything forgotten or fresh on a Saturday. Really does free up the weekend.

Just need to make sure you are careful with the substitutions, if what you want is very specific. Occasionally they're out of something, which is a nuisance, but not as depressing as going to a supermarket with a list with 20 things on, to discover that they're out of 8 of them. This happened to us in Sainsburys years ago. It so wound me up I went to customer services, and got them to go round with me and look at the shelves. And I restacked the shelves in front of them to move all the "alternates" back into place to reveal the empty space.

For fine jewellery I have them imported from US and other places, still cheaper than UK prices after paying custom and import charges.

And last I looked their delivery charges were tiny compared to the rest
