Cardiff

Try the usual, airing cupboard etc to dry it and try putting it in a bag of rice to see if it draws any moisture out.

Good luck

When was this?

Should never turn anything electronic on after getting it wet as it will do it even more harm.

Take it apart as much as you can, stick it in a load of rice and put it in the airing cupboard for at least 48 hours before turning it on.

"Bloody ninjas! "

I dropped mine in a puddle for a minute or two and it died.....but on the third day it rose again!! It was totally unreliable for while, and then recovered fully and is fine now a year later.

Mine never fully recovered from a 2 1/2 swim in another piece of bathroom furniture. Not even after over a week in rice in the airing cupboard.

I suppose once it's wet it's wet. A minute or six hours will make no difference.

Try the bag of rice trick. Hopefully your phone will live again.

Or put it in front of a fan heater, - cheaper, but nowhere near as much fun!!

Always amazes me that people take their phones into the bathroom. Are you scared that Facebook / Fab will close down in the hour you're in?

Sorry, I didn't mean you in particular. I know other people that do that.

I wish your family member a speedy recovery

The sound of screeching tyres and the smell of burning rubber as a spectacular U-turn is excellently carried off
