"Great film. But mind boggling. Does anybody think they reached the right conclusion or do you think it was just meant to keep you guessing rather than give you a straight answer?" I think its one of those refreshing films where the storytellers do not spoon feed the audience .....

YES!!! I love thinking films. Inception has so many possible twists that it's hard to see them all. I loved Seven Paychopaths for that same reason

Let me know what you thought when you see it" It was on our list for the BFI festival last year and we couldn't get tickets. Now I have to remember to find it and watch it. I don't know if the ones we are seeing this year will be thinking films or not yet. The first is tomorrow.

"Inception is loosely based on Freudian theory, and if you watch it in that context (and with some knowledge of the theory) what you see is a poor and clunky film that isn't hugely complex, but instead stylised to look that way. Just my thoughts of course." Appreciate that thanks, I'll look into it. However doesnt the term 'loosely based' mean that it doesnt have to completely adhere to that theory? Meaning that any conclusion to this film has done its job by making the audience use its own imagination?

The cast: Walken, Farrell, Rockwell, Harrelson and Tom Waits... is absolutely fucking superb. Above the plot and context, it's just so entertaining to see all these characters clash in the least likely way.

I could count possibly several star trek the next generation episodes that had the films basic theme to be honest. I also hated the dialogue, I mean really things like "He's the fixer",etc etc, the characters were really videogameish..almost like lego super heroes games, albeit any form of humour I'd suggest a more independent head fuck, Primer

The principles of the film are pretty straight forward and those who struggle to 'get it' tend to be those who either fucking talk and ask questions during a movie (thus missing yet another bit of information and asking even more fucking questions), people with the concentration span of a dead goldfish or those who need their phone surgically removing from their hand. I thoroughly enjoyed the film... and the Tom Hardy totty was a bonus.

" lol the fixer was just an example, I rarely get dazzled by the ploys of hollywood films nowadays... amazing film, must see, film of the year, blahh fucking blah I wont remember inception in 10years as any form of landmark film I couldnt even get why the military in the avengers movie all were still using standard non enhanced armory and weaponry(that they had been researching via iron mans stuff!)..absolutely flummoxed me as they took on 8ft aliens
