1. There are for and against views on whether someone who is a multi millionaire should be allowed to claim a state pension. What are you views? Should they be allowed one as they are rich enough already and there will be more moment to put into state pensions if they didn't claim it.

2. If you are rich enough that you can throw your money away every week on meaningless junk and that's without your wage. Should you give up your job so someone who is less well off than you can earn more money? Also if you were that well off. Would you expect your child to work as buy doing work they are gaining independence and not being spoilt, etc, but on the other hand someone who needs the job can't have one because they are taking up a vacancy. What are you views on this?

Yes they should if you pay into it then its rightfully yours, if there was a option to not pay into it then it would be up to the person to decide but if its a very rich person id guess they have paid over the amount more than a poorer person so would have more of a right to it.

If you are talking about the moral issue, there's none in my eyes, pot that's been filled by the person and has a right to it same as anyone else that has put in.

frittering away money isn't bad for the economy without people spending our economy would go downhill rapidly, money has to be spent to keep the wheels turning

For example you win £160 million on the euro millions. Your mate is on an average wage. Say the state pension is £150 a week. That's nothing to you, yet if you didn't claim it. Your mate could have maybe £300 as they will have your share and it shouldn't bother you as you have got £160 million in the bank. So what's £150.

I meant if everyone who was that rich did it and it was an example. I know it wouldn't be £300, but it would be more than £150

If they lose their money, yes, as it is a human right in this country to have something. If they still have millions, no, their pension should go to those in need.

If I was very wealthy I wouldn't be able to accept a state pension. It just seems like a smack in the face to all the pensioners struggling on a pittance.

If a very wealthy person chose to take the state pension presumably they could live with themselves..

If I'd won the lottery as in your example I'd give the £150 to a mate that needed it.

If you have paid into the system it is your right to get something out of it - such as a pension . The rich often double pay during their working lives e.g. Private health and private school fees without using the state service for these .

To receive A state pension is a small price to pay for this

Crazed, here's an idea for you :

If the Govt :

a) reduces all taxes to 5%

b) doubles benefits

c) triples pensions

Do you reckon most people will be better off?

3. If you are rich enough to buy the things you want regardless how trivial other people thing they are and enjoy your life how you see fit because you worked fucking hard to get where you are today, you earned your job on merit - yet still manage to set up charitable trusts or financially support things like community projects... should you just give it up because some fucker else doesn't have it?
