I haven't been in Germany yet, I would love to go but I have been to Amsterdam and it's fantastic. If you haven't been, I recommend it.

Amsterdam is an amazing place, been more times than I can count now (its the easiest place to fly to the far east) so if you decide on amsterdam and need any tips, give me a shout.

Liverpool

Berlin for food, sophistication, clubs, bars, culture, sightseeing, history. The most amazing city in Europe.

Amsterdam for more blackpooly in your face, neon lights and red lights.

Depends what your after

All depends what you wanna do when you get there, if its the obvious Amsterdam attractions the fill your boots. I've seen both cities and prefer Berlin.

notts

both excellent, but with amsterdam you can have the overnight ferry from Hull to Rotterdam which is really good, then they coach you into amsterdam, you can arrange extra nights and get the coach back to the boat for the overnight crossing home .... price includes cabin

I completely disagree with this completely! I recently cam back from amsterdam, whilst it does have the seedy underbelly of the red light district. Amsterdam is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, from the architecture to the corner street bistros its picturesque

Amsterdam is one of the prettiest cities we know, with the fun side of the red light district (we go once a year every year for the last 10!). Hamburg was great for a sex weekend on the Reeperbahn but limited to just that, brill place to visit though! Shame we haven't tried Berlin but hear it's Fab too xx
