A very old ex of mine used to add a good dollop of tommy k and a knob if butter. It did taste pretty good actually lol

I dont like heinz and prefer an "own brand" bean.....

asda,tesco,,aldi .......i likes them mushed up with butter in but dont like really cheapos as they are like bullets

I like HP beans, black pepper and a knob of butter, towards the end. Thickens up any 'wet' beans

Went right off cheap beans when people started finding dead, boiled mice in the tins. Can just about manage crosse & Blackwell but I'm a Heinz fan

I wish I was. Same with milk. Dairies are allowed a percentage of the milk to be pus (puss?) from udders. I hate knowing this stuff. My daughter finds stuff like this just to depress me

I find it hard to believe, but hey, that's life, a surprise a minute I do know cheap skimmed and semi skimmed milk has colouring in.

some of the own brand stuff is better than the premium brands

the Asda chosen by you is great. and Morrisons do their own squares which we love.

although beans and tomato sauce has to be heinz. self confessed bean snobs

Heinz was good for years but then i discovered Branston beans and i was converted!! the same way i was converted with reggae reggae sauce with cheese on toast! my life seems to be just that little bit better now.

1997 and it was sainsburys own brand beans

Lidl beans are nice I used to insist on hienz but after trying lidl have bought them since. 4 for a pound.
