The male version of "feisty" would be "short fused".

Nope. It takes a fucking lot to piss me off.

If you (you mode= generic) manage to do it..you/they/person must have been persistent.

Or if I blow my fuse fast..it would have to be something very specific.

I hardly ever get upset or loose my temper, I remember when my ex found out I knew he was having an affair, he got mad at me for not confronting him about it when I found out and for not being angry

...Up on the Downs

Hell, yes I'm feisty, but I don't associate that word with bad-temperedness at all, the first definition is the one I mean:

feist·y [fahy-stee] Show IPA

adjective, feist·i·er, feist·i·est.

1.

full of animation, energy, or courage; spirited; spunky; plucky: The champion is faced with a feisty challenger.

"I'm not moody, I'm just less inclined to put up with your shit!"

I've got a very short fuse, not violent but if someone gets on my nerves they get told where to go,

And I'm getting worse with age, I'm a proper cantankerous old Man

Mrs liddy on the other hand very rarely losses her temper with people but when she does she blows her top big style,

I always used to have a five second temper which I worked hard to always control. Only lost it a few times and regretted it later. I like to think I am mellow but sure some would say different

She's an a angel, mild mannered and loving. Never met a woman so nice.

I just wanted harmony and happiness in life and went off the boil with those that took the piss. Ten years ago anger management and cbt (twice) helped me understand the need to realise that I had no right to expect morals and values in others. I thought looking at things black and white was healthy and appreciate now it isn't. Was an hand grenade head, I deal with sooo many difficult people, drink, drugs, steroids, mentally imbalanced, naturally emotional due to circumstance that I'm now very level headed and great at diffusing issues. The tools/capability is still there though in the back pocket without losing control
