Paradoxically common sense differs from person to person, so I guess it should be better called individual sense of reality

We aren't allowed to use our own common sense anymore i'm afraid. The pc brigade do our thinking for us now.

Doesn't the phrase "common sense" relate to having some sense about common (everyday) things though? Rather than having sense that is common, as in a lot of people having it?

But yes, I really do wish more people had it either way... it's not something you can teach someone unfortunately.

it was deemed unecessary by Nu labours nanny state when they took care of every aspect of your living.

however, now civil service spending has been cut and people now have to start thinking for themselves again, its seemingly somewhat difficult.

Common sense is other people doing what I expect they should do.
