Do people not worry about people they know maybe seeing there face pic on there profile when they have them in public view

I got a message a while ago from a guy offering to take photos of me and my fella, when i looked it was someone i work with, was so glad ours are private, he doesn't even know it was me but i still can't look at him the same.

Just wondered what others thoughts are....

Some do, some don't. Some will, some won't.

For me, I keep 'em private. I like to reel people in with wit, charm and personality before I unleash the horror that is the face behind the keyboard!

I always work on the theory if someone on here sees me and knows me then they are on here as well for the same thing as me so where is the problem.

Also a lot of people just send them with there first message, surely its backfired a few times

I only exchange face pics with people I'm either specifically looking to meet, or simple those I find particularly attractive (both in terms of looks and personality) and would like to see their face and complete the picture.

i have thought that myself too, but wen u know about peoples personal life it can put u in a situation u don't want to be in

It's always personal choice. People have their own reasons for not having them up - discretion due to jobs, small town locations, a simple desire to maintain privacy - or to occasionally hide who they really are if their motives are not genuine or should they be a 'returning visitor' to the site following a previous issue or (in some cases) a ban!

Those that are happy to show theirs - all good. Those that choose not to - all good.

There are always ways and means to establish interest and attraction other than a permanent image on your profile - the options are many!

Yes its a bit risky, you never really know the person properly especialy if you are married.

my hubby knows i am on here so it doesnt matter that much.

Nope. Cis I've no significant other, no siblings and no children. I'm self employed (semi retired) n I don't know my local rabbi n my nearest synagogue is 40 miles away so I'm not fussed who sees me on here. People have sex - it's a fact of life n if someone challenged me they'd seen me on here my response would be 'And' ?

Actually I'm more embarrassed my bits n pieces are on view!

I do appreciate though that other people have valid reasons to keep their own profile 'lowered'
