Hello Manrider,

I always chop the top off, much less messy than fiddling with little bits of broken shell, and it must be soft boiled, hard boiled eggs are for salads.

I peel the whole thing, chop it up in a cup with butter, salt and pepper and dip my toast soldiers in it. A bit of comfort food from childhood.
