Over the rainbow, under the bridge

Don't you hate it when you sit in all day for a workman only for him not to show up? Or arrange a delivery, sit in all day and no show?

What are the worst scenarios, OUTSIDE OF FAB, which waste people's time?

I once spent 40 mins on the phone to BT being bounced around from department to department and still did not get my problem resolved. 40 mins of my life I'll never get back.

Whe n they bring you rnew gas cooker and when they go to fit it say we have a leak and they have to turn the gas off and tell British Gas. then you have to wait for them, when they arrive and test it say theres nothing wrong!!!!!

I know I'm a 'bloody foreigner' but does any British people give at least a little snigger when a company is prefixed by 'Royal'? ..........or should I keep quiet to save my head?

Cold callers on my doorstep also are a waste of mmy tine even if only for a minute. Add those minutes up over a lifetime. That's a lot of wasted time.

If I'm not expecting anyone, i just don't answer the door. And if someone calls me trying to sell something, i politely say no thank you, good bye and put the phone down before they have time to reply. They never call back!

Drove for two hours to look at a car by appointment which was for sale, got a wedge of cash out of the bank in case we bought it, did a HPI check on it, Arrived on time- nobody home eventually after loads of telephone excuses turned up two hours late then the car would not start, told him to stuff the car where the sun don't shine.
