I'm starting a half sleeve soon and have my consultation today to collate all my ideas.

Out of interest roughly how much should a half sleeve cost???

Dependant on how much the artist charge per hour....some work by the actual tattoo...half a sleeve can cost anywhere between 200-400. Quid depending on the tattoos itself and how much details they are...some maybe cheaper

£800 but depends on the detail, the fine point work etc etc

Mine set me back around the £500 mark. Remember you can do it in sittings to spread the cost

Would do your research though with artists though....ask to see work etc ask what their speciality is...is it grey work shading or colour etc...

I have two half sleeves one goes higher than the other tho, my right arm is just shoulder to elbo and cost me £900 that was 6 two hour sittings at £150 a sitting, my left arm goes up my shoulder and neck down to elbo and cost me £1100 that was 6 two hour sittings again at £150 a sitting and one 3 hour sitting at £200, depends how much they charger a sitting there's no set price, be warned tho your under arm hurts like a bastard and don't let anyone tell you different

if anyone quotes you £400 or less for a half sleeve run

Yeh I've been planning this a long time and have waited months for a consultation. It's with lucky cat in Glasgow who are very sought after and their work is fantastic

I would go anywhere that charges less than £100 if a two hour sitting, people that cheap are cheap for a reason, I also wouldn't go anywhere who will do you there and then if they don't have a waiting list its because no ones using them, again for a reason
