Amanda Hutton the mother of 8 who was sentenced to 15 years for the manslaughter (starved to death) of her 4 1/2 year old son (hamza khan)

is 15 years long enough ?

i have seen the father on the news today however were was he when his children needed him ?

how can parents do this to their own children is beyond my own comprehension.

15 years out in 10. Anti death penalty folk will say she needs help and are we sure it was her fault. Pro death will say hang her.

Vote pro I say

Very, very sad for the child - the mother needed help as well as her children but no one was willing to give it - it must have been obvious to many 'care' and 'welfare' agencies that the situation was worse than bad but no one intervened. She will be punished but there are many others - the father included, who should be feeling extremely guilty for their lack of care in this situation. Once again, the old line 'lessons will be learnt' will be trotted out but sadly this will happen again and again. Z

while it's no excuse for what she did, she clearly needs medical help.
