Is it just me or is time flying by, some of my friends have already completed their Christmas shopping, I've not even thought about it yet.

But saying that i have appointments made from now until new year for hairdressers and salons to get the times that i want.

It will be half term for us here in Essex in 3 weeks time and then i suppose it will be all systems go !!

Have any of my forum friends thought about xmas yet and have your children pushed reams of lists at you asking for what they want?

Yes, I've thought about it, my dad was in a coma all over Christmas last year dying on the 2nd of Jan. So my Christmas is planned to go places and do stuff so I'm not just sat at home being miserable

In Nov of last year my Mum was in a critical condition in ICU with 48 hours being given on if she was going to recover, she partially recovered but didn't return home until mid Dec and left me to step up and do her shopping, wrapping and card writing and then I was ill over Christmas.

So this year I have already got most of my presents, wrapping paper and cards so I can just enjoy Dec at a more leisurely pace this year and enjoy it.

Might go and see Christmas lights elsewhere, see if there are any Christmas markets etc
