Does anyone do the saving thing for Xmas where you get the vouchers to spend in November?? I'm tempted this year ready for 2014, I'm terrible at saving so this way it'll be gone out my back and sorted. It will def spread out the Xmas payments a lot! X

My sister does it and just received a great big wadge of vouchers. I keep saying I'm going to join because I'm rubbish at saving as well.

My Nan used to use park but there is a risk, a similar company went bust shortly before Christmas a couple of years ago leaving people without vouchers and without cash.

Could you set up an ISA then a standing order each payday to deposit money to the ISA?

I put £20 a month away in a savings club at work and also into a voucher scheme through the school ...

It seems tough at the time, but you do reap the benefits at this time of year

When that happened park sent out a letter of assurance that that would not happen to their customers if ever they had problems.

Trouble with an ISA is you can take money out when you want.

That is the only real issue, have to have willpower with an ISA.

I save up everything lower than 50p and managed to save about £90 this year also Tesco points can be saved and released in Nov and I save my Boots points up.

A much easier and safer way to save for Christmas is to buy a saving stamp at a lge supermarket, like Asda, anything from £1 upwards, when you do your weekly shop.

little house on the praire

When my son was little the local toy shop had a savings club. You paid in what you liked, when you liked and then redeemed it at Christmas. I save tesco stamps and change

I've been doing it for years and think its a great way to make Xmas so much easier.... Only stopped this year as my son is 13 and the vouchers don't really suit what he wants

I only buy for my kids as I don't have any family so xmas isn't overly expensive for me to be honest
