hiding the toys!!

My dad is due to lay some new laminate flooring in my flat but I have a conundrum. What do I do with the big storage box of toys under my bed and the 4 drawer bedside table full of toys as well while he is laying it???

He's doing the bedroom, the lounge, the hallway and the junk room with the kitchen being used for access. Knowing my dad he'll be in every room every day lol

I did think about putting the box in my car. Can you imagine if I got pulled by the rozzers and they wanted to check the car over??? Lol

My son found my toy box which was hidden right under the bed with loads of shoes and teddies in front of it. He pulled everything out, including the box and come wandering in with my rabbit claiming that he learned about them at school and was told they were for pleasing ladies and I'm 'sick' coz I'm too old!

He had been searching for Christmas presents!

Can you not put them in the garage or loft? If you can't then the boot of the car is probably your best alternative...

What a great place to keep your secret stash.

Don't hide them , he knows you have them, make a feature wall out of them, 10 cup hooks in a row, and a shelf for the ones that you cant hang, use biggest two as door stops.

Going off on a tangent .

We were at the funeral of a great aunt , I was sat next to my sister in the third pew back, the first taken by my great aunts cronies all singing one verse ahead of everyone else to prove they were regular church goers .

Whilst the vicar was eulogising about said great aunt I noticed my sisters hand bag was open and a black cylindrical device was falling out.

My initial reaction was "yuk " but then curiosity took over and it obviously was not a vibrator .

In the hush of the sermon I started to fiddle with it to work out what it was and how to turn it on.

My sister glanced over at what I was doing and grabbed the device and shoved it back into her bag.

When we got outside after the funeral she told me off for playing with her rape alarm.

Good grief!!, if I had set that off it would of wiped out the front two pews and we would have been going to funerals for weeks .

Coo !, that was close .
