Caution - Girly topic - Hair :-)

I need a new hair dryer, and have spotted an infa red dryer which dries from the inside of the hair too and reduces damage/frizz.

Have any of you tried an infared hair drier?

Ionic ones are supposed to reduce frizz as well, to be honest I don't buy into it all, a good conditioner and looking after yourself, decent diet etc....does the trick. Sorry not much help.

My hair is generally healthy at the moment, I do have highlights yet it remains in good condition I guess I just want it to be a bit silkier to the touch for longer and know that heat can damage it which I'd like to prevent.

It is also very thick so takes forever to dry.

I have a tresemme ceramic vented brush, best one I've ever owned.

I also use VO5 blow dry straight cream which is good.

Currently use a Mark Hill hair dryer which is becoming a bit temperamental.
