On average I have between 5-7 hours , I do try to have early nights but then can't sleep.

How much sleep do you have/need?

About 5-7 hours too sometimes more, often less at the weekend.

I can however sleep anywhere. All I need to do is close my eyes and .... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

7-8 hours is about right for me

If you are tired avoid an early night and try to keep to normal sleep patterns. The body prefers to keep to its routine

It totally depends on the level of excitement / stress in our lives !

On a roll when we have babysitters and a busy month of clubs etc then 5 hours is plenty .

When things are stressful with work , kids etc .... And we are not getting out and about as much as we would like to - 8 hours is not enough !

Last nght about 3 hours. I'm struggling with being unable to sleep on my front as I normally fall asleep this way. Feeling very strung out this morning between the lack of sleep and codeine.

I tend to get 7-8 hours a night and then I'll have a nap during the afternoon depending on if I'm at work or not. Mind you, Von Ryan's express is on today, so that may interfere with my nap.

I always aim for 7-8 a night. But if I'm on a breakfast shift (last one on Saturday), then I have to be up at 4.30am, but I can't go to bed any earlier to get 7-8 hours. I just can't sleep.

Sleep is quite important to me, because it is one of my epilepsy triggers. I can manage to go to work after 4 hours sleep, but I have to go to bed when I get in, even if just for an hour, or I have a seizure.

I used to sleep for around 8 hours a night if I had to be up for work and could happily spend most of my weekend asleep but since having my boy my body clock is all over the place. I wake up loads in the night even if he doesn't and prob average about 5 hours if I'm lucky x

You know, i have never gone to bed early or slept early. Even when i was younger. The earliest i went to sleep must be around 12.

I dont really get much sleep, maybe a few hours decent sleep. I usually find myself awake and thinking about the past...which is not good.

My sleeping pattern is all over the place. Be a miracle to fix it. Its taking its toll now though.

I manage on 5 hours quite well and catch up with 7-8 on a weekend need wise well they say 8 hours is needed so I guess I fall short.

I am lucky if I get 4 hours. If I sleep too long I feel worse.

If I remember the blurb for the programme, it looks as if playing catch up doesn't work.

Mine has been for years.....frustrating as hell at times, I am sure sometimes its because I get myself in a tizzy it makes it worse.

I just can't stop thinking sometimes. It's like trying not to think of an elephant, the more you try to stop thinking, the worse it gets.

I'm going to try yoga after I've moved. I need it now really but I haven't got the time.

Mines all over the place at the moment due to sleep inducing pain medication and natural insomnia.

Anywhere from 2 - 14 hours but i can be awake easily 36 - 48 hours continuously

hard to explain for me. I can go 4 days straight with no sleep whatsoever, then sleep 20 hours. If I have been to a club, or had a day out with my son, I can sleep anywhere from 18-30 hours or more, with only waking for the loo. No eating, just sips of water.
