But I can't find forum rules on my phone app, so taking a chance

A friend of mine is raising money for children with autism and their families. To do this, he will be spending a week on the streets, in London, in December.

I personally think this is pretty amazing, and if anyone would like to sponsor this, search 'alone-in-london' on the justgiving website. Thanks.

If anyone is kind enough, please make sure it's the page supporting ASD. The fundraising objectives are on the page as I have described.

thanks . It makes a change from regular fundraising activities, sky dives and raffles and the like, so it's really made me want to get behind him as much as possible X

thanks hun. He won't be making use of any of the homeless support agencies while there either, as he feels this is disrespectful to the genuine homeless people. And he is leaving his own autistic son for the week to do this. I think it's pretty selfless. X

Well I think in fairness he needs to as if he is living on a budget etc he will find out it runs out pretty quickly...to be able to experience the true meaning he has to leave every credit card etc at home.....

It's a good gesture and very commendable. However, what do you mean he is leaving his autistic son for a week? Who will look after him? Will the son have a proper support structure in place, as autism makes dealing with change very difficult.
