Time going quick when you get older

Tomorrow is the 1st year anniversary of being single. But I'm more concerned about the time going quick, seems like a couple of months ago when I said bye to the kids and got in the taxi .

Lets get sciencey, why do you think time goes quick when you get older?

At this rate, I'd die of old age tomorrow

Brian Cox did a few programmes on the way time seems to move differently depending on your situation, Im sure you can download it somewhere, its deffo worth a watch.

Well, space is time but here on earth the reason why you think time is going faster is because a year is a smaller proportion of your total time.

We also experience it at different rates if we're busy, relaxed, stressed etc.

I think time goes quicker when we're older as we are pretty much dictated to by time. Time to be at work, time to leave work, time to get to appointments, time to get the kids to dance class etc whereas when your younger it's less restrained as you have less responsibilities and your time is more your own.

Probably a load of crap but that's my logic behind it!!

Download a clock that counts down to the age you are likely to die, for men 70, for women 72.

deduct time for diabeties, stress, and other killers.

each and every day you use up yet another 24 hours.

Life is the most precious thing we have, use each hour wisely
