talking about this at work the other day....when you get a take away delivered do you tip?

what about taxi's/minicabs?

hairdressers???

waiters/waitress'???

I usually tell them to keep the odd change. Although I keep thinking I'm gonna stop that coz if its crap they've had a tip that's undeserved. Lol x

I don't tip my hairdresser coz she's a mate so I buy her a coffee or a beer now and then. Taxi drivers get a bit extra if they help with my bags etc as a thank you but I rarely get taxis now I get the bus

depends on the service I get

I always tell taxi drivers to keep the change unless they are arrogant, a few taxi drivers will happily sit in their car and watch women struggle with sopping and kids, some will get out and help, their attitude depends on if I say keep the change or not

I tip like mad I can't help it I feel bad if I don't.

On Holiday I go overboard with tips it guarantees good repeat service unlike here.
