Am I being too fussy

Hi, whilst I appreciate the messages sent to me I get the impression some here think you are willing to settle for anyone. I may be a middle aged nylon lover but, am I not allowed to have standards! I'm not desperate and feel it's necessary to get to know someone before they can expect a meet.

Also a recent meet (I must stress not from this site) was a real turn off when the guy turned up and even his pubes stank of B.O. He seemed to think hygiene shouldn't be an issue.

nah you are not being too fussy .. everyone has their own standards and whilst some treat this site like a 'free shag' site others don't and treat people with respect. Hold out for those that fit your standards as they are about ! have fun !

Yeh same here, some people on here think that coz it's a sex site and u show a bit of an interest that u must meet them as soon as they want or they get nasty!!!!

I totally agree with you. Some guys profiles read as if they would willingly walk over hot coals n through raw sewage just to meet someone/ANYONE. I see no reason why these guys can''t up there aspirations and give themselves a bit of dignity. Surely sex is a two way process that should be mutually beneficial and enriching to all involved not a desperate quest for any port in a storm

I think some people forget their standards here or it comes across that way with many and I don't have a clue why so what ever you do stick to yours is what I would recommend. You don't have to get X number of meets in so many months its far better to actually enjoy and have a good time even if its only with a few. Hygiene well some women are the same and to me its highly disrespectful to who you are meeting. I tend to say something and make my excuses and I don't see it as rude just honest. So if you are not happy say so be polite and exit the situation. It should all be about fun here after all.

I always speak to meet partners before they travel etc to meet up. If its a shag not social check out meet, I always discuss mutual cleansing arrangements - have they showered, and confirm I have etc. If someone is evasive, alluding to having taken a shower at some undefined point, Id probe further. It may seem pushy, but my standards are high. To the op, its better to just meet when and who you feel right with. Trust your gut instinct.

It's okay to be fussy. Unsatisfactory sex is worse than no sex in my opinion.

Everyone here has the right be picky and your right to have standards ... and no matter what people say you be true to who you are and have high standards too ........ I should hate to meet people that have hygiene issue that's just bad in this day and age . yuk xx

That said, can't be that fussy if you met a person with poor personal hygiene but still got close enough to smell his sweaty bollocks!

when I first started I meet a man his bits was smelling of wee ........ And did I after knowing that go on ......... now way and put me off hair on bits for the rest of my life ......and thinking of hair in my mouth makes me feel sick.

Have to admit, as I meet in my home, if someone asked me if I'd showered I'd find it insulting and tell them not to bother coming!

If people here was truthful I bet some have come across it too and still had sex and only after maybe felt yukk .And some will even get turned on by it all the nastier the better for some ..

To be fair, Leeds doesn't admit to doing the deed. Nor state at what point she whiffed the bits. Perhaps she was on her knees and pulled down the meet's boxers and was hence knocked out .

I met a nice guy but his lie about having showered in his hotel room ensured I'd never meet him again. He didn't stink but (a) he did not smell of shower gel, (b) his pheromones and I were incompatible. Probably the only meet who has never received a bj from me

Ohh I did have a meet who didn't wash his hands after a visit to the toilet. Ermmm I made my excuses...
