I bought an incredible White Stilton in a supermarket down under once, it was the best cheese I've ever had - absolutely orgasmic (almost, again lol) but I never saw it again & I can't remember the label only it was typically coated in wax - I hate that!!

It's called 'sliced halloumi in a sweet chilli dressing!' It's in there party cheese section, they also do a baked Camembert with a sweet chilli thing you pour into the cuts in the top of the Camembert before you cook it x

We make some of our own cheese and it is to die for. Cheese can really make a meal come alive when used right.

To sit in front of a real fire with cheese, port and great company is a great place to spend time.

Broccoli and stilton soup ..

2 tbsp oil

1 onion, finely chopped

1 stick celery, sliced

1 leek, sliced

1 medium potato, diced

1 knob butter

1 Pint of homemade chicken or vegetable stock

1 head broccoli, roughly chopped

140g Stilton, or other blue cheese, crumbled

1.Heat oil in a large saucepan and then add the onions. Cook on a medium heat until soft. Add a splash of water if the onions start to catch.

2.Add the celery, leek, potato and a knob of butter. Stir until melted, then cover with a lid. Allow to sweat for 5 minutes. Remove the lid.

3.Pour in the stock and add any chunky bits of broccoli stalk. Cook for 10 – 15 minutes until all the vegetables are soft.

4.Add the rest of the broccoli and cook for a further 5 minutes. Carefully transfer to a blender and blitz until smooth. Stir in the stilton, allowing a few lumps to remain. Season with black pepper and serve.

ok take longer then 5 mins to cook but I do find ways around it to make a fast soup and I have veg ready from microwave , lol if I like this for lunch.

I love to order all sorts of food online as I dislike someone else deciding what I am going to eat. It funny when our family visit we usually take local produce or our own stuff and everyone seems to appreciate it more than a box of chocolate or the like
