Just wanted to say, good luck to those doing it this year. I did it last year, and the support the NHS gives is great.

If anyone near me is looking for something to put in their mouth, let me know, lol

I've been smoke free for 3.5 years now.

Good luck to anyone doing it! I'm gonna stop eating crisps for a month. I think I'll find that harder than quitting smoking lol x

I can just about understand the addictive nature of smoking but I fail to understand how a parent can deliberately indulge in any activity likely to deprive a child of one or other of its parents.

Lost my mum a year n half ago. Because she was a smoker from 27 to 77.

It kills!!!

I had to read post mortem notes, knowing my mum was taken apart like a jigsaw and put together again, if only she never smoked.....

If not for you. Give up for your kids, grandkids.

Good luck to all doing this xx

It has been mentioned to me that my post (above) might have been a bit 'in yer face' for some folk.

Excellent! Job done.
