Looking at curvy women 'gives men same high as alcohol or drugs' - allegedly

Thursday 25th February 2010

By Mike Jones

Curvy females can give men the same high as drinking alcohol or taking drugs if they stare at them long enough, according to research.

Brain scans of men reportedly showed that looking at women with hourglass figures activated parts of the brain linked with rewards - including regions associated with responses to drugs and alcohol.

"These findings suggest that an hourglass figure activates brain centres that drive attention toward females that represent the highest-quality reproductive partners," the researchers wrote in the journal PLoS.

Cheap Night Out..

Which is why I asked as it is blindingly obvious that the perception of curvy does rather depend on the eye/desperation of the beholder or the typing of the profile writer

life is too short to worry about these things, some men like big girls, some men think they are easy lays, some men detest them and think they are lazy bitches who live at Greggs ( )

curvy generally refers to all size women providing they have the "hour glass figure"

Marilyn Monroe at size 16-18 was considered curvy because her boobs and hips were bigger than her stomach and that is normally the benchmark for the term.

ie if your boobs and hips are bigger than your waist it doesn't matter if your a size 8 - 10 or a size 18 - 20 etc your curvy.

To get back to the OP's point. It is what is percieved by the guinea pig as being curvy. It is all subjective. One mans meat is another mans poison.

As Winston churchill said "there's lies, damn lies and statistics" read into it whatever you will.

I know what I like and nobody will change that.

i also agree with this, its really annoys me when people call slimmer women a bag of bones or stick insect but for some reason thats ok! but if someone came on saying who'd want to shag a beached whale anyway that would be another matter, maybe its cause bigger ladies are more sensative about their weight and slimmer women can laugh off such comments as bag of bones? i dunno!!

but its about mutual respect in my book, stick insect or beached whale, such comments shouldnt be made by so called adults
